After a disastrous experience in the Jewellery quarter (Hatton Garden) in London, (context: two diamonds fell off the ring two weeks after wearing it they didn't want to reimburse at first, had to put a review on Google to be heard), we went to Birmingham specifically to Aardvark Jewellery in hope that we will find something suitable that respect our budget. Ashley was super responsive even though we took our time to order as we wanted to be sure to not make any mistake with buying something custom that we didn't see online and in person. (Yellow sapphire oval stone instead of a teal round stone). The order was simple, precise, they answered all my silly questions (is it made in Birmingham? : YES! is the delivery in the UK included? : YES!) easy to communicate by email, delivered on time and most importantly ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. I cannot take my eyes of it. I've ordered a wedding band that goes around it and it has been delivered with it (it is just not on the pictures) It is absolutely gorgeous with it. I didn't see it before order, I completely trust them to match the style of the ring, and if possible it enhance the beauty of the engagement ring, the perfect match. When we received the ring my fiancé was absolutely amazed and asked every five minutes to have a closer look. If you have any doubt hope this comment will help, Already recommended to my friends (and boyfriend's friends ahah) And wouldn't hesitate to order again for any other celebration. Ashley was a great help to us in choosing an engagement ring and our wedding rings. The quality of the stone is amazing and we love the colour of the emerald cut sapphire. Very happy with the wedding rings too, great fit and again the quality is very high. Ashley posted the rings to us and we were very impressed with the professional service all round. Great place, a real hidden gem...excuse the pun ;)

Bespoke ethical jewellery. The gems are immaculate, best quality. It’s so difficult to get a great emerald, but Aardvark managed it for us. The design is exactly what we wanted, and was confirmed via CAD. Price was bang on and fair. It took us a year to find the right place to make our ring, come here you won’t be disappointed.

I had searched for months for the perfect ring for my 40th. I eventually realised it just did not exist. I had followed Aardvark on Instagram and saw a ring similar to what I wanted so emailed asking if I could have a custom design and exactly what I wanted. Ashley emailed straight back with a great price, so good that I added extra diamonds. I wanted a particular shade of pink which Ashley was able to use. I got excellent design mock ups before it went into production and the ring arrived 3 weeks earlier than the 6 quoted. I was terrified opening the box as it was designed from scratch but I needn’t have worried. The ring is perfect. Exactly what I wanted and stunning. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ashley and Aardvark and will be ordering from them again very soon.
