Starbrite sapphire and grey diamond ring in grey gold

We are excited to announce we will soon be introducing an 18ct grey gold option to our selection of rings! Grey gold is a modification of 18ct white gold by altering the alloying components (and of course foregoing the standard rhodium plating) to give a darker, more subdued appearance.

To kick this off, we have designed a gorgeous ring featuring a steely blue Starbite cut sapphire, cut by award winning lapidary John Dyer. But we didn’t stop there! Accenting the sapphire are 6 genuine fancy grey natural diamonds! These aren’t salt and pepper diamonds, where the grey colour comes from carbon flaws. These are all natural VVS diamonds with a fancy grey colouration, due to a high concentration of hydrogen within the diamonds atoms.
